Greetings from Georgia! Thank you all for the warm welcome you have given me as I transition from volunteer to staff at LCW. I first learned of this wonderful ministry while serving as a journeyman missionary at Tokyo Baptist Church. I joined a group from my church who travelled to the Philippines to build homes with Habitat for Humanity. We saw firsthand the needs of the children, and many of us became sponsors. At the time I came home from Japan, the sponsorship office was only 45 minutes from my home. It was there that I met founder Peggy Houk! That was more than 30 years ago, and I have been involved ever since. Isn’t God good? He places us where we need to be when He needs us to be there.

During my first month with the staff, I have been learning all the “behind the scenes” work that goes on at LCW. I am amazed at the multitude of donations that you give to LCW! Just look at those beautiful children enjoying your Christmas gifts! We are blessed with a dedicated staff who diligently work to make sure that every donation is accounted for and used effectively for the ministry.

As we begin our 36th year, we pray that God will bless you and your family as you have blessed the children and families of Little Children of the World. We pray for continued success stories like Princess and Gabriel as more children receive sponsors. We ask that you prayerfully consider a gift to the Endowment Fund to help sustain and grow our ministry.
