As I reflect on the ministry, I cannot imagine what would have happened to thousands of children and youth over the past 37 years without LCW/LCP. Children from the streets, from abused and neglected homes would have remained without hope. YOU are the hands and feet of Jesus touching over six thousand people showing love, giving help, bringing hope, and changing their lives forever. Sponsorship lifts a child and their family from the grips of poverty and sets them on a course to a better and brighter future. Your gifts to programs… provide a health clinic where people who are sick or injured can receive free medical care; help over 200 children with disabilities receive medications, therapy, and surgeries; supply a foundation for learning in the 7 preschools and school on wheels for out of school children; serve food for over 135 hungry children each day in our two soup kitchens; nurture a safe, loving home for over 70 children and youth in the 5 residential homes; train parents with livelihood skills to make a living for their families; give an opportunity for 170 students to go to college; and most important in all our programs, teach everyone about Jesus.
