Peace & Faith: College Outreach

Before Jesus ascended, some of his last words were “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27). This purpose of the Peace & Faith Program is to instill the hope of the Gospel in everyone we encounter and give opportunities to build faith that helps to navigate the fears of life.

College is the culmination of our program and the last opportunity we have to instill Biblical truth and wisdom before our students become alumni and take on the world on their own. Currently, we have 157 students in college, most of whom are the first in their family to have the opportunity for education. College is challenging and full of stress for navigating the future for everyone, but these students are also dealing with the pressures of breaking the cycle of poverty. We take every opportunity to encourage these students to hopefully help them find peace in the stress and faith in God who is in control. Join us in praying for our   college students.
