Feeding More Children in 2025

There is no more practical application of showing Christ’s love than to feed a child who is hungry. The administrators in Cadawinonan Elementary School approached LCP with an opportunity to begin a feeding program for the students in their institution who are struggling with food insecurity impacting their education. On January 22, 2025, they conducted a launching ceremony attended by students and feeding beneficiaries as well as LCP staff and school officials. In his message, the principal, Rogelio B. Abao, Jr. called this partnership “an answered prayer for the hungry children” in his school. We look forward to the opportunity for feeding more children in 2025 and for the years to come.

We operate soup kitchens in vulnerable communities to provide daily lunches and vitamins to 145 malnourished children. The children fed at the soup kitchens will most likely only receive one meal a day. They are also taught basic hygiene such as bathing, brushing their teeth, and washing their hands. A normal meal will include rice, soup with veggies, and a small piece of meat. Special occasions come with treats like birthday cake, fruit, spaghetti and other special items. We are blessed to be able to feed more children!
