President Elect 2025
I hope this message finds you well this holiday season. As always, we are beyond grateful for you and for your service and heart for LCW. I have some very good news to share with all of you – the President Elect 2025!
Many of you have wondered about the future of the organization and about my retirement. The board has been working in the background for months carefully steering the ship as we made a plan for the future. I am grateful to them for giving me another opportunity to serve this organization that I love so much. I will continue to serve in my fullest capacity, but I am overjoyed to announce that as of 12/16/2024, Brittany Foster has officially been appointed to be the next president of Little Children of the World.
Brittany is entering her 8th year formally working with LCW as the International Relations Liaison and Vice President. Prior to working with LCW, she traveled to the Philippines more than 10 times and has participated in mission work in at least 13 countries as well in the US. She holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management from Middle Georgia State University and undergraduate degrees in Biology from Truett McConnell University and Gordon State University. During her early years working with us, she lived and worked at LCP for 4 years to learn the organization from both sides. She has become an invaluable member of the team with bright ideas for the future of the ministry.
Starting on January 1, 2025, she and I will serve as co-presidents until there has been sufficient time to turn over responsibilities. I have every confidence she will make an excellent president and will lead us into the next generation as a ministry. Please pray for all of us during the transition as we take next steps for the future of LCW. I hope you will join me in welcoming her into her new role with the organization.
It has been my joy and honor to represent this ministry and to work every day on behalf of the children in need. I look forward to what the future holds as I know God is in control of LCW. I am so grateful to each of you for all you do to make this ministry run through your service, prayers, contributions, advocacy, encouragement, and so much more.
May each of you be blessed for being a blessing. Have a very Happy New Year!
With gratitude,
Glenna
