The Peace and Faith Program is our largest and most foundational program. Sunday school, weekly worship, Bible studies and more have been affected by the Pandemic. Due to limitations to the number of people able to gather and significantly increased transportation costs for our members, the Peace and Faith Program has not been able to function at full capacity. The LCP staff has done a great job of operating within the constraints to ensure Christian Education continued.
We are hopeful that all members will be able to gather again for Sunday Worship services by the end of the year! It will be great to again see the open-air chapel full of 2000+ people each week. Currently, they come meet in smaller groups on a schedule according to their community at LCP to allow for more social distancing.
In the meantime, all Sunday School has been able to resume, and Bible studies are ongoing on a regular schedule each week in all 14 communities. The Peace and Faith Program also plans smaller events for youth, families, and parents that enrich their spiritual walk.
In addition to gathering in Jesus’ name, we believe it is important that each family have at least one Bible in their home. Recently, over 100 Bibles were distributed to members of the communities to help us reach more people with the Word.
We are excited to see the Peace and Faith Program back at full capacity, soon. This program is always in need of funding so everyone who is involved with LCP will know about Jesus. Please consider a gift to the Peace and Faith Program.
