A single donation, no matter how large or small, is a major Helping Hand. With a few quick clicks you can be confident that you are making a big difference in changing lives for children and families that are experiencing poverty in the world.
Recurring donations are gifts made at a regular interval, such as each month. Recurring gifts are convenient because they allow you to give regularly without needing to remember to do so or take the time to re-enter your payment information. Sponsorship is a recurring gift, but you may wish to contribute to the greater mission of LCW on a regular interval rather than a single family. All HELPS programs are in need of recurring contributions.
Gifts with meaning for any occasion for the loved on in your life who already has everything! Your purchase of a gift from this catalog lends a helping hand to children and families in need through any of our HELPS services. You can browse a variety of gifts and even download a custom in-honor card at check-out to really make the gift special.
In Kind Donations
We also accept new or gently used donations of items to be sent to the Philippines. We ship boxes four times as year. Acceptable donations include:

- Books
- Personal hygiene items
- Clothes for people of all ages and sizes
- Cooking utensils
- Medications / Vitamins
- Christmas gifts
- Birthday gifts
Please do not include damaged or expired items in your donations.

Qualified Charitable Distributions
Choosing LCW for your Qualified Charitable Distribution from your retirement account can help you minimize the tax burden of your Required Minimum Distribution while helping children—you can even use these funds to pay your sponsorship! Typically, your retirement account advisor will provide a form that we will complete, and your QCD to be sent directly to LCW. Then, we can distribute it according to your wishes.
Stock
If you would like to contribute stock, please contact our office for specific instructions as each account is different. By donating stock, you can avoid paying capital gains taxes on the appreciation and typically can receive a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock at the time of the donation.
