Warm summer greetings from all of us at Little Children of the World! We are blessed to be passed the halfway point of 2025, and we have much to celebrate. We have just welcomed our newest staff member, Chinelle. She is a tremendous addition to our team, and is the sweet spirit on the other side of the phone when you call in. We are working to fill our sharing event schedules for the rest of the year, and we are looking forward to visiting many of you in your congregations and community groups!

It is my pleasure to report the educational successes of this year to you and hopefully celebrate with you as your sponsored children and college students are reaching milestones and paving a way for their future. 112 preschool graduates, 53 high school graduates, 27 college graduates, and hundreds of others in every grade in between walked across the stage to signify the completion of another educational level. This is an achievement no one can take from them that they can carry throughout their life. None of this would be possible without your support, and we are so grateful. Marie Lou and I were blessed to be able to share in the graduation celebrations in May and July in the Philippines and to extend your greetings and congratulations to all the sponsored children and families.

We are particularly proud of our college graduates! We work for years, along with your investment, to watch them grow into the success stories they are today. It is beautiful to see how far they have come from young children with big dreams to being some of the most talented, well-rounded, and career-ready individuals, all because someone like you cared enough to lend a helping hand. Thank you for making a difference. Your contributions break the cycle of poverty for generations and bring the hope of Christ to people for eternity.

We need more help to sustain our efforts for empowerment. Global inflation and economic volatility have led to decreased giving in the second quarter of 2025. This has put strain on our efforts to provide holistic services that support the individuals you all sponsor. Sponsorship is not successful without the other HELPS programs providing chances for children and their families to experience the love of Christ, receive vital services, and opportunities for education and skills training.

We cannot allow a shift in momentum to stop our incredible efforts to provide help and hope through the holistic HELPS model and sponsorship. However you feel compelled to respond, we will be faithful to maximize the impact of your giving in Jesus’ name.
